“Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in Good Health.”

Christ

3 John 2:2 New King James Version

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

3 John New King James Version

Greeting to Gaius

The Elder,

To the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth:

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in [a]truth.

Gaius Commended for Generosity

Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren [b]and for strangers, who have borne witness of your love before the church. If you send them forward on their journey in a manner worthy of God, you will do well, because they went forth for His name’s sake, taking nothing from the Gentiles. We therefore ought to receive[c] such, that we may become fellow workers for the truth.

Diotrephes and Demetrius

I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not receive us. 10 Therefore, if I come, I will call to mind his deeds which he does, prating[d] against us with malicious words. And not content with that, he himself does not receive the brethren, and forbids those who wish to, putting them out of the church.

11 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, [e]but he who does evil has not seen God.

12 Demetrius has a good testimony from all, and from the truth itself. And we also [f]bear witness, and you know that our testimony is true.

Farewell Greeting

13 I had many things to write, but I do not wish to write to you with pen and ink; 14 but I hope to see you shortly, and we shall speak face to face.

Peace to you. Our friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.

Song of the Day: “Close” by Marvin Sapp

Marvin Sapp “Close”

I love this song because it illustrates what is so true, sometimes the storm is the worst before the sun comes out.

Soldiers are victorious because they persevere; all battles are not won, but the fight ain’t over til it’s over for a true hero.

I am seeking the Lord to help me through my many battles with myself, my surroundings, and my pain because it is a beautiful blessing to be alive today. I am not ready to met the Lord because I want to get better first. Just grateful that while I was yet a sinner, in due time, Christ died for the ungodly. With His love in me, in front of me and surrounding me, I am praying that I will be pleasing in His sight by faith and by deeds!

Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus.

My grandmama taught me to meditate  on Him. Repeating His name as she cleaned the kitchen, washed her dishes, and cooked the vegetables from her garden. She chanted His powerful name while she put the cornmeal back in the cabinet, and the milk and eggs back in the box.

The peace and the energy that gave her!

My grandmama was a witness wherever and whenever: at Brookshire’s, at Simmons Bank, at the Extension Office, at Ford Car Servicing. She was a little old Paul of Tarsis in terms of her fervency in spreading the Good News.

So I am obligated by her example to share who He is. Our Redeemer. The Master. Our Savior. Forever.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  John 14: 6

I love the Lord. He IS ALWAYS there. In my darkest hour, I tried Him. When my grandmama died, I was eight months pregnant. It was about 10 pm when I found out. I laid across the sofa and called His name. I loved my grandmother. I lived with her in my youth and in young adulthood. I expected that she would meet her first great-grand. But He is your present help.

I’m still here. Ain’t wearing head-to-toe black everyday and crying all over myself, I trust Him.

Confess your sins, repent, and be baptized. He is waiting on you.
