Yo!

A “Remember this? Remember the time” post.

Place: Atlanta’s Plaza Theatre 1049 Ponce De Leon Ave NE

I volunteer with The Atlanta Film Festival’s Special Events with the lovely Sydney Lamont (hey Sydney!).

This particular evening HBO’s Original Series GIRLS was premiering their third season. It was a beautiful night. Everybody looking pretty and giggly.

I don’t know whose idea it was, but I was glad they had a popcorn bar, complete with jelly beans, caramel-apple Twizzlers, mini Chips-Ahoy, nuts, and plenty of nostalgic candy to throw in the mix.

I met a tall, lively red head who turned out to be the director of HBO’s PR for this region. Never know who you gon meet, huh? Gotta stay ready.

Aren’t you from New York?

Taking the Tunic trend black AND floral, this girl had me beaming when she told me my style remember her of that  Big Ole Apple.

Yes.

Mint 3/4 blazer. Check.

Black high waist cigarette pants. Check.

Floral dress you bought at Marshall’s when you spent whole checks on clothes. Check.

And there you have it.

Take a vintage silk navy striped catalogue type Oxford, a lemon yellow knit cardigan and some curls, and VOILÁ!

Steve Madden has created my lovely biker studded boots that I hunted down at Dillards two Decemebers ago.
