I pray John17 over us all. Please keep us from the evil One in Jesus name I pray amen.
“The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, eat your bread with trembling, and drink your water with anxious shaking. Then say to the people of the land, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says about the inhabitants of Jerusalem and of the land of Israel: They will eat their bread with anxiety and drink their water in fright, for their land will be stripped bare of all it contains because of the violence of all who live in it. The inhabited towns will be left in ruins and the land will be devastated. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’” The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel, ‘The days pass slowly, and every vision fails’? Therefore tell them, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: I hereby end this proverb; they will not recite it in Israel any longer.’ But say to them, ‘The days are at hand when every vision will be fulfilled. For there will no longer be any false visions or flattering omens amidst the house of Israel. For I, the Lord, will speak. Whatever word I speak will be accomplished. It will not be delayed any longer. Indeed in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word and accomplish it, declares the sovereign Lord.’” The word of the Lord came to me: “Take note, son of man, the house of Israel is saying, ‘The vision that he sees is for distant days; he is prophesying about the far future.’ Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer! The word I speak will come to pass, declares the sovereign Lord.’””
Ezekiel 12:17-28 NET
God is warning ⛔️ me and us about famine and disease. I had a dream of warning about being in a foreign country and I was outside of a tall, light green two-story house. The house was filled with people with the same disease; they all were GAUNT and frail. Their Skin was almost the same color as the house and they had huge huge holes in the skin of some type of flesh boil. I didn’t go in the house until near the End of the dream.
When I went in, people were screaming, “Jesus, Jesus!” We were there for one particular man who still had a chance to be saved. I walked with the leader and our group was told yes he was here. We went back outside to a dusty few benches to talk over getting the money needed for the doctor and a flight. The grand total was $475. There were about eight of us putting in, we we went around the circle, one by one and said what we could give. $75 $75 $85 until it came to one me and said he would give $400! We all were In shock, because we all were giving what was a huge amount. But he gave like Jesus would. He was giving a pledge over what our combined money added up to. For Love.
Love gave to a man who was dealing with gross gaping sores and the skinniest body to date. It was an almost worthless endeavor and yet this man gave with abandon.
God is going to punish the world in our lifetimes and we will see FAMINE more destruction
We Need to and must repent
This verse tells us to keep a ready answer for why we believe in Jesus Christ!
What a blessing to get to share the stories and things God has done for us not only personally, but collectively, globally and outside of time!!!
Always have a smile because you are God’s child! A Chosen Vessel! Your circumstances don’t matter in evangelism🎉🙏🏽💕 I wish you know that your God is awesome, I am guilty of missing opportunities to evangelize, but I am going to do better!
“I remember your genuine faith, for you share the ufaith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother, Eunice. And I know that same faith continues strong in you. This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. And don’t be ashamed of me, either, even though I’m in prison for him. With the strength God gives you, be ready to suffer with me for the sake of the Good News. For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.”
2 Timothy 1:5-9 NLT
Tabitha was a beautiful person who showed her faith by her works. She gave and sewed clothes for the poor.
The devotional explores what people will say about us when we die.
In the end, the love we showed will be most important.
Marriage is a blessing.
At one time in my life, I hated marriage and never wanted to be married. I looked at my parents’ relationship and the lack of real love and support and joy, plus my fear of adultery and being controlled kept me far far away in my heart. I had two main reasons: one I assumed or just thought that this vixen at my dad’s job had led him into infidelity and I could not imagine that as great and beautiful as my mom was & two I did not like when my dad spoke harshly and made everyone in the family feel stupid and unworthy. I wanted to be free and never be made to cry by a man. I never wanted to beg a man to stay with me. I never wanted this, I never wanted that. All of my motivations against marriage were hard-fast and negative: I didn’t know any happily married couples. I didn’t see anyone having fun in marriage. I had secrets in my heart that became words and those words became my attitude and my character as the quote goes.
But God had healing for me.
He had a man that He had selected me for and him for me. Every marriage is a covenant with God and if you Google “What is the marriage trend in America?”, the statistics will alarm you. The Bible says that the purpose of marriage is to raise godly offspring and bring glory to God.
I have not always done that. Marriage tests you and pulls out your flaws and weaknesses. The flaws come from my ego, my experiences, my heart. Yet, God giveth more grace.
I pray that my marriage will continue to grow into a testimony, despite all our imperfections.
3 John 2:2 New King James Version
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
3 John New King James Version
Greeting to Gaius
1 The Elder,
To the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth:
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in [a]truth.
Gaius Commended for Generosity
5 Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren [b]and for strangers, 6 who have borne witness of your love before the church. If you send them forward on their journey in a manner worthy of God, you will do well, 7 because they went forth for His name’s sake, taking nothing from the Gentiles. 8 We therefore ought to receive[c] such, that we may become fellow workers for the truth.
Diotrephes and Demetrius
9 I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not receive us. 10 Therefore, if I come, I will call to mind his deeds which he does, prating[d] against us with malicious words. And not content with that, he himself does not receive the brethren, and forbids those who wish to, putting them out of the church.
11 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, [e]but he who does evil has not seen God.
12 Demetrius has a good testimony from all, and from the truth itself. And we also [f]bear witness, and you know that our testimony is true.
13 I had many things to write, but I do not wish to write to you with pen and ink; 14 but I hope to see you shortly, and we shall speak face to face.
Peace to you. Our friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.
Have you ever reflected on how much you want things to be as easy or as stable as they were yesterday?
And inevitably, they are not.
The new school year is starting and already things are different. New teachers. New rules. New procedures. New schedules.
Same old materials.
Time to be resourceful.
Time to innovate.
Time to be proactive.
Sometimes you don’t have it in you. Sometimes you do.
Sometimes the other constraints around you and out of your control impede on the good you want to do.
In our minds, we all know what is right, but as the Bible says, “The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Lord, strengthen our flesh so that we can live out the days of our lives as good examples for Christ. Give us energy despite the things in life that drain and drag us down. Help us to remember former times of hardship and bear up under the weight. Help us to be realistic and honest about what we are working with and help us to be fair with one another.
Please forgive us for longing for days of old and help us to make the future as useful as it can be. Forgive us for missed opportunities and help us to see clearly for the opportunities we have in the future.
Bless us to not let our emotions and circumstances control us, but to do as Paul and press forward toward the mark of the high calling in Jesus Christ.

The Parable of the Talents
We are the managers of the talents and gifts that God has given us and nothing in our life is a permanent possession. It is all a gift from God and a result of His goodness! God expects a return on His investment in us. At Judgment, we will be rewarded for what we have done in this body, good or bad.
Praying to be a good steward in the name of Jesus!
I read this article and it coincides with an article my best friend Brittany sent me today about thoughts.
We can think about so much of what we do not want that we absolutely miss what God wants and the fact that we have the time and space to do what He is asking. I look at my life and see it as a tangle of yarn that I am trying to see how it got like that. If I look back over my year, I can see some highlights and some firsts, and even people who benefited. But (and I know it is a faux pas to start a sentence with but,) if my ball of yarn life is only fun to a kitten who randomly plays with it, rather than being a crochet blanket or pot holder that helps those closely surrounding me, am I really effective? And so no. I am not effective and I am not focused as June 5th, 2022. I am taking time to assess myself and my works and my faith and my intentions and my pride and my ego and my go-getter qualities that led to my will being done rather than God’s. And I pray that I will get on track in a timely and dedicated manner.
You know how you look back at your life and see points when you were so sure and so committed and so in the saddle and you wonder where that person has gone? Or what perfect circumstances where being held together or who were you studying or what were your habits and your thoughts?
The good thing about it is that we are alive and breathing.
The bad part about it is that we let it get here. I repent of the here I am at currently.
If I were to write out all the self-inflicted negatives, I would be thoroughly embarrassed because my actions do not reflect someone who knows Christ/God is the source of all their blessings. The main theme that you would see is a lack of stewardship, organization and planning. And I have actively tried in the past to correct those things but not with the gusto I really needed. I was doing it one toe in the water instead of fully jumping in and it goes back to my thoughts.
Do I really see myself as capable? Am I able to stand my ground and maintain in the face of opposition?
This article is the answer to all my running and escapism from the real problem: my own lack of focus.
I hope it helps you as much as it did me.

I cooked rice and Brussels sprouts and Parmesan crusted fish (recipe here Herb-crusted fish with rice). It was absolutely divine! My two year-old did NOT think so, he wanted no parts of the rice or fish and definitely not the Brussels sprouts! I tried to calmly continue eating, but I literally had no Earthly idea what this child would eat because the cabinets were stocked with cereals, pancake mix, and oatmeal; all too sweet to be considered a healthy toddler supper. He ran from the dinner table to Elmo, playing in Daddy and Mama’s bedroom (the #1 spot where all kids want to be).

We need to remember what it was like to be young, and be helpful through pray, conversation and encouragement.
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
2 Peter 1:4-9 KJV
Recently, I have been examining the theme of satisfaction versus dissatisfaction. How many of you can remember a time when you were incredibly blessed with something new, needed, incredible, miraculous, or long-awaited, only to arrive at this beautiful, climatic moment with a Womp-Womp-Womp reception? Maybe for you, it was the last day of the semester, the promotion,the move, the holiday you finally got to host, the “Wedding Day”, or the healing of a medical condition. Celebration is honey to the heart. It soothes the gashes of drudgery, like honey binds our physical scratches. Its sweetness blends in with our blood and stops the bleeding. Honey is good on toast, berries, and fried chicken; it is smooth in hot tea or lemon-water. Bees produce it, Yogi Bear and Winnie-the-Pooh can’t get enough of it!
Genuine rejoicing attracts people. Think of how people turn their heads when one person bursts into a “Whoo-hoo!”…

When my children have started out on a new venture, whether it be learning to ride a bike, conquering a new math skill, or trying to make the team of the sport they are interested in; I have always preached the old saying “Practice makes Perfect”. My son is somewhat of a perfectionist. He wants to be the very best and gets discouraged easily and quickly when he is trying something new and can’t do it well. I tell him, he was not born knowing how to do this….no one was…and the ones that are good at this have spent some significant time doing it over and over. When they were tired of it…. they kept doing it, when they were sick of it…they kept doing it, when they never wanted to see it again….they kept doing it. As a result, they are great and accomplished at what they do. That…

Fly in the ointment
A fly in the ointment is an idiom that has its origins in a text written thousands of years ago. We will look at the meaning of the phrase a fly in the ointment, the origins of this phrase and some examples of its use in sentences.
A fly in the ointment describes something slightly irritating that ruins the overall picture, the enjoyment or success of a situation. A fly in the ointment is a minor drawback that keeps someone from proclaiming a complete success. The idiom fly in the ointment most probably has its roots in the Old Testament, in the book of Ecclesiastes. In the King James version, translated in the early 1600s, the passage reads: “Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour.” Well over one hundred idioms in common usage can be traced to the King James translation of the Bible. Interestingly, the first use of the idiom a fly in the ointment didn’t appear in the English language until early in the 1700s, in the book A Practical Treatise Concerning Humility by John Norris.Advertisement
I catch myself talking about the irritating things about others or complaining or praying fo someone else to change, but do I beg God to change me?
Am I aware of the offense things that I am do, say and cause that are stenches in the nostrils of those I offend? Can I be neutral in critiquing my flaws? Honest in estimating my success and my imperfections? Can we say that we know God if do not mortify the deeds of our members?
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. (Romans 8:13)
I had this phrase repeating in my head, the deeds of the flesh and the deeds of the Spirit are manifest. So that means that others can see if you are good…others can see if there are gaping holes.
Proverbs 9:1Wisdom has built her house;
she has carved outa her seven pillars.
2She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine;
she has also set her table.
3She has sent out her maidservants;
she calls out from the heights of the city.
4“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!”
she says to him who lacks judgment.
5“Come, eat my bread
and drink the wine I have mixed.
6Leave your folly behind, and you will live;
walk in the way of understanding.”
7He who corrects a mocker brings shame on himself;
he who rebukes a wicked man taints himself.
8Do not rebuke a mocker, or he will hate you;
rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.
9Instruct a wise man, and he will be wiser still;
teach a righteous man, and he will increase his learning.
10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
and years will be added to your life.
12If you are wise, you are wise to your own advantage;
but if you scoff, you alone will bear the consequences.
I want so badly to be like Wisdom. I love the personification of Wisdom as a woman who is wisely preparing her home for company.
Yet, I see ways that I need to get the dead flies out of my ointment and I need to be patient to achieve the prize.

How many of us have talents that we are hiding? Or that we are to scared to share?
How could you hid your light…from shining?
God said, “There is a lamp stand put it right THERE!!””
Remember, Matthew 5:16 and “Let your 💡 LIGHT so shine before men that they may see your good works and GLORIFY your Father which art in Heaven!”
Let them look at your beautiful talents and know that there is a good God above, share that art, that acting, that singing, that cooking, that creating, that rap, that pottery, that furniture, that instrument so they can KNOW there is still a God above!!
Read this parable of Jesus to see what it looks like when you do it right and when you do it wrong.
As a person who has given people closest to me the silent treatment when I was so mad that I didn’t want to put it into words, I have recently learned that the silence kills as well.
Very thought-provoking article that I must share for the good of us all.
Hope you enjoy!
“Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.”

Accurate Thinking by Napoleon Hill
“Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
James 3:13-18 ESV
